usually we use "they" "their" and "them", it's genderless and it works for both singular and plural as long as you specify who you're talking about earlier in the sentence. for example: "Jesse doesn't like peppers on their pizza." the subject is Jesse alone, but if we wanted to make it multiple you would say something like "Jesse's family doesn't like peppers on their pizza." because the subject is Jesse's whole family, the 'they' becomes plural rather than singular. hope this helps!
