I want to post art I made for badges I want sell at conventions. But I'm worried someone might steal/trace over them and sell them as they're own work. How can I prevent this?

How about drawing semi-transparent white line or toning on the part of images for uploading?
I usually used that, It will prevent stealing.
and overlay few sample images by another to hide part of them might be helpful too.
or sign your name on the images, it’s general.
